Deuteronomy 24 – 27

(Friday)

In Deuteronomy 26:5 – 10a, we find a short confession of faith. The history of the great exodus is related in just a few verses, but the importance to remember is once again stressed to the people. Remember who God is. God is a God of action, He not only rescued His people, He blessed them beyond all measure.

What does your confession of faith look like? Do you think about the wonders that God has done for you? Do you remember that in your life, God is a God of action, of salvation, of blessings? I would encourage you to write out your own confession of faith. Write down some of the promises God has given to us that we can hold on to. Promises like;

“I will be with you always.” “My peace I give you.” “If you confess your sins God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Well, I could go on and on, but you get the idea. What promises do you claim? I would love to hear from you. Mark it in the comments box.

Blessings on the day!

Pastor Kathy
