Psalms 7, 27, 31, 34, 52

Friday

Over the next several weeks (on and off) we are going to spend some time reading in the Psalms. Ever wondered just what is a Psalm? (the “p” is silent when you pronounce it). No it is not something found on a tree – that’s a palm.

1 Samuel 21 – 24

Thursday

What would you do if you could get revenge on a person who has caused you nothing but trouble your whole life? Would you do it? Would you seek to harm that person? David is given just exactly that opportunity. What do you think he is going to do with it?

Judges 19 – 21

(Wednesday)

Well, there is nothing in this passage of scripture that speaks to me of a holy people, following the will of a Holy God.
