The Passover meal is about to take place for Jesus and the disciples. This was one of the “important” festivals.

Jesus and his disciples were walking past Herod’s temple and began talking about how impressive it was. (Sort of the response Herod was looking for I think.)

It is getting near to the time of the crucifixion and the Jewish council is doing is best to try to find a way to trap Jesus into saying something wrong.

So how many of the “lost and outcast” have you noticed Jesus talking to over the last several chapters?

Can you see yourself as the judge in this parable? Or the widow? Talk about nagging….
