There are many times in our lives when we experience grief.

This is the recording of Jeremiah’s sorrow at seeing Jerusalem destroyed. It is a book of grief.

Hey God, wasn’t Israel Your Chosen People? What gives? Why are they being treated like this?

Have you ever tried to imagine the incredible awesome power of God?

Have you ever doubted that God is in control of the whole world?

Have you ever had someone ask you for advice and then because you didn’t tell them what they wanted to hear they just ignored it?

How does a just God allow evil to exist?

The fall of Jerusalem. It was predicted, it was spoken about, it was the result of a promise.

The trouble that Jeremiah has to go through doesn’t seem like the way a great man of God should be treated, yet history shows us that the enemy is always at hand, just waiting to strike.
